Join us for a night of fine Tasmanian food & music and help take our choir to the heart of African American Gospel. With special guests Tetsuya Wakuda & Ray Martin.
Date: 03 Mar 2014
Our choir is on a mission - a mission for Gospel.
We have been invited to perform at the prestigious 2014 How Sweet The Sound event - an experience which is part contest, part celebration. This is a unique honour as only choirs from the USA are generally permitted to attend. The fact that a gospel choir from Hobart has been invited humbles us.
But we also want to give something back. After more the 13 years performing this glorious music, we wish to show how we honour and celebrate the music which came out of African American culture, and hopefully give them a little surprise along the way.
As well as How Sweet The Sound, we hope to tour a little of the USA and so perform with some of the best choirs, including The Potter's House Choir directed by the most talented Myron Butler.
That's where you come in.
To achieve this goal we are calling on support from our followers with the fund raising event of 2014.
We have arranged a unique night of fine Tasmanian food, wine and music, and our very special guests Tetsuya Wakuda & Ray Martin have offered to help us celebrate the night with their world class skills. And we've chosen a very Hobart location for our soirée, the Henry Jones Art Hotel.
If you're wanting a little Indulgence! in 2014, come along on the 3rd March 2014 and help us take Tasmania to the World.
