The Southern Gospel Choir is unique in Australia. They are contemporary and yet also traditional, maintaining the heart and soul of traditional gospel through beautiful and powerful melodies and vocal arrangements, and the irrepressible, uncontainable joy that is gospel music.

Tonight's concert will present the choir in a remarkably different manner – no band, no big PA. Just the amazing and irrepressible sound of the SGC voices, resounding through the exquisite acoustic of St David's Cathedral. This concert will truly harness the pure power and passion of the SGC's vocal sound, accompanied only by piano and organ. A treat for all the senses, and not to be missed.
